IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL JUNIOR CERTIFICATE EXAMS 2018 CONFIRMED EXAM LEVELS (Updated on: 12th March 2018) Further to the State Examination Commissions Information Notice (S19/18) it is important that all students consider their subject levels. This week Ms.Hennessy, Exam Secretary, will confirm with all students their levels (Ordinary / Higher) for each of their subjects for their state exams in June. The SEC have informed all schools that they will only consider applications for changes to subject choices /levels after 16th March if the request is accompanied by correspondence from the school authorities outlining the reasons for the change. The SEC will impose a €32 late fee will apply following this date. This is a late fee of €32 per subject. Some parents may be aware that previously students sometimes have changed their levels at the last minute, sometimes on the day of the state exam itself. I write to all parents to inform them of this fee. So to avoid this please ensure your son has carefully considered his levels and that he confirms this with Ms.Hennessy. We thank you for your assistance in this matter.
