LC MUSIC
Music at leaving Cert level gives students the opportunity to study a broad range of music over the two years of senior cycle.
All topics are taught through Composition, Listening and Performance.

Exam Structure at Higher Level:
Most students opt for the performance elective which brings the performance part of their exam up to 50% of the overall Leaving Cert exam. This usually takes place just before or after Easter each year.

- Listening paper (25%)
- Performance exam (25%)
- Students chose one of the following electives at higher level - Listening, Composition, Performance, or Music Technology) (25%)
