JUNIOR CERTIFICATE RESULTS 2015 (Updated on 9th September 2015)
Well done and many congratulations to all our Junior Certificate students who received their results today.
As the day progressed there was a heightened sense of anticipation and excitement. All students received their results attended a presentation from our Local Juvenile Liaison Officer, Garda Audrey Sheridan. Garda Sheridan encouraged our students to celebrate in a positive and supervised manner and to enjoy the occasion in a responsible way. We were also contacted by Superintendent Dolan who asked for parents and guardians support to ensure all students were safe and appropriately monitored. We hope all students enjoy their evening. We thank our local Garda Síochána for their support and interaction with our students.
As a school we are delighted with the results. We commend the following students for the exceptional results, in particular Donatas Galickas who received the highest possible Junior Certificate results 11 A‘s, all at higher level. This is a fantastic result and one to celebrate. We also praise Davy Nolan, Maksim Mirutenko, Liam O’Flynn, Dylan Connolly, Daniel Forrester, Gearóid O’Connor, Germaine Mogilevski, Thomas Sia, Adam Doyle, James Killian, Adam Anderson, and Rory Hanratty for their excellent results. Over 26% of our students received more than 3 A’s. The overall standard was excellent and I thank their Yearhead Mr.Mc Govern and all their tutors for their work for the last three years.
I would like to take this opportunity to also commend and thank all their teachers for their work in guiding and leading their students to these excellent results. I also commend all our teachers in the Resource Department and the wonderful success of the students who receive additional supports. It is important to acknowledge excellence and high achievement.
As a school we will formally acknowledge these achievements at our Opening School Mass. Comhghairdeas acu uilig.
