NEWSLETTER - MAY 2015
                                                                                                                                                                                             Wednesday 20th May 2015

Dear Parents / Guardians,

As we come to the end of a very busy term and a very busy year which has been full of many wonderful events I ask all parents to read this newsletter carefully as there is important information for all parents and students for this year and to help us in our preparations for next year.

Annual Voluntary Contribution

I thank all parents and guardians who have already made a voluntary contribution to the school. I would kindly remind all parents that it is not possible to manage the school without your assistance and financial contribution. All monies contributed to the school are fully accounted for and are put to use for all students for their academic, personal and social development. Therefore I ask on behalf of your own sons to make this contribution to the school so that we may maintain our educational success.  Please return this form before the end of the academic year. If you have mislaid this form you may request from your son to collect another one from the school office.

6th year Graduation Ceremony Thursday 21st May.

We will congratulate our 6th year students who will graduate tomorrow night at a special graduation ceremony. SCAM Magazine will be on sale at a special price of €10. We encourage all our 6th years to buy this magazine as a wonderful memento and souvenir of their time in Salesian College. All parents are invited to bring some cakes – individual cakes that don’t need slicing (if that’s ok!!) for after the ceremony. The tickets for the Debs will also be on sale. We remind students and parents that tickets are only sold to students who graduate from Salesian College and who are registered with us. Please note that as the school does not have credit card facilities the Parents Association Debs committee will only accept cash or cheque for tickets. Please be at the school by 7.15pm if you wish to buy tickets.
